Subject:Any future plans?

I thoroughly enjoyed the Democracy of War and found it a facsinating study of both Anstruther and Cellardyke during the Great War. Are there any plans to carry out a similar study of Pittenweem or St. Monans? I'm currently researching the War Memorials here in Kingston-upon-Thames.

Subject:Andrew and James Dick

Any family members of these two brothers still living in the Fife area. Who were their parents, names of any other siblings?

Andrew Dick in my family tree was a merchant seaman, came to New Zealand about 1860. There is no record of what boat as crew were not recorded. His daughter Maryann born Scotland, no record of baptism, had connections in Inverness, Alexander, John and Maryann McLennan, mother was Patty, father unknown.

Any information would be great.

I was searching for some evidence on my family history and came across Thomas Paterson who died in the great war on the 21st of September. How very strange that i was born of the same name in the same county(Kirkcaldy) on that very same date he died but in another year 1970.
